Being a hairstylist is a dream come true.

Through diverse online and in-person education, I have tailored my skills to specialize in Lived in color, balayage and tape-in extensions.  My time-tested techniques give my clients the opportunity to love their hair in every stage.

All looks are customized to each client to guarantee you are looking your best. After creating your custom color, I devise a tailored hair care routine to ensure your hair is looking the best it can in between appointments. My goal is to make sure you leave my chair happy and confident with your new look. 

Nothing tops the feeling of getting client messages saying that they’re still getting compliments on their hair months after their appointment, which makes them fall in love with themselves all over again!

I do hair as "The Beauty Project" to remind myself and others that they are not alone, to remain curious by asking questions and to take care of our humanity from the inside out. I am dedicated to challenging the mold of the beauty industry and how it impacts our self image, conversations, gender biases as well as our communities and the environment by offering gender neutral and eco-minded hair services.

My specialties:

- Haircuts of all lengths & textures: transformation cuts, curly cuts, basic maintenance shape up cuts, mullets or transitioning from short to long with minimal grow out frustrations!  

- Natural hair color
- Scalp treatments & styling: I love offering scalp treatments as a gentle way to clear up stressed out scalps . And I offer styling and styling lessons.

Services I do not offer: Chemical relaxers, keratin treatments or perms, bald (straight razor) fades, platinum blondes, vivids/fashion unicorn hair. (Please book with a different Nova Stylist if looking for these services)

Hey there! My name is Katie, I’ve been a hairstylist now for 15 years! Hair is my passion and my clients make it all worth while. I am certified in Great Lengths fusion hair extensions and provide the best quality hair while delivering exceptional results. I also specialize in blonding, gray coverage, layering haircuts and styling.

While I’m not behind the chair I love cheering my kiddos on at their baseball, volleyball and tennis events! I absolutely love working here at Nova salon with this great group of talented artists and I hope to see you around here soon too!
